- Mohave County Library District (MCLD)
provides access to information via Internet in compliance with
the Mohave County Internet Usage guidelines.
- Because of its size and complexity, the
Internet cannot be monitored or controlled by MCLD or any other
organization. Internet resources may contain material of a
controversial or mature nature. MCLD is unable to censor access
to materials or protect its users from information they may find
offensive.
- As with all library materials, monitoring and
restriction of a minor’s use of access to the Internet is the
sole responsibility of the parent or legal guardian.
- Sources on the Internet do not always provide
accurate, complete, or current information. As with any material
provided by the library, the user must take responsibility for
substantiating the validity of information found.
- Any activities that are intended to interfere
with or disrupt network users, services or equipment are
prohibited. Users are not permitted to add, delete or modify the
installed hardware or software.
- Using your own software or hardware is
prohibited.
- The user agrees to abide by all MCLD policies
and standards as well as all applicable local, state, and
federal laws.
- MCLD is not responsible for any user misuse
of copyright or any other violation. For more information,
please refer to MCLD’s Copyright Policy Statement (Section
3600).
- The user agrees to indemnify and hold
harmless Mohave County, Mohave County Library District or its
employees or agents from any and all liability or claims for
damages or other problems which may arise as a result of users
to Internet resources.
